Booster Update - October 2010

Due to the phenomenal success of the 2010 Business Boosters, all the money provided to help and assist small and start-up businesses by Southend Borough Council has been allocated. At present it is not known if there will be another allocation in April 2011, but we will keep you informed of any news.

Networking-on-Sea would like to thank all those who have been part of the Business Boosters scheme this year - for those of you who are still working on a claim, either as a claimee or an expert, please don't worry! Money has been alloocated to pay you for your work, but there is no new money available for new claims.

Growing enterprises are rarely short of enthusiasm and energy. However, sometimes a little more - in the shape of specialist business skills - might be needed too.  Skills such as Employment Law, Health & Safety, Accountancy, Marketing and eCommerce can all play an active part in the development of any business.

Networking-on-Sea can provide all the support necessary. Thanks to a unique partnership with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, we can not only connect growing businesses with the support they need but, thanks to the Business-Booster scheme, we can also provide up to twelve hours of expert advice absolutely free.

The Business-Booster scheme is only available through Networking-on-Sea for those who live or work in an area covered by Southend Borough Council. There is a wide range of specialist business support available, most of which can be delivered on a one to one basis.
